We’re excited to share that Affyn is launching NEXUS World — Gen Zero Buddies NFT edition on 6 July 2022, 13:00 UTC. Get all the info you need to become one of the owners of one-of-a-kind 100% Mythical NFT collectibles.
These Buddies aren’t your typical NFTs. “Gen Zero” Buddies are the very first set of NFTs launched by Affyn. You have a choice to purchase any 1 of the following:
- Pigasus
- Gagamaru
- Nessie
- Floomph
They are scarce and their rarity is mythical. In other words, these exclusive Buddies are inscribed with the “Gen 0” symbol, identifying them as one-of-a-kind NFT collectibles that demonstrate their value and importance. Think of them as your sidekick as you explore the metaverse. They represent the fun, togetherness, and adventure for our users.
Here are some amazing use cases for the Gen Zero Buddies:
- They will be integrated into the Nexus World game.

Whitelist Details
- We’re giving away 45 whitelist spots via our whitelist contest, with another 35 set aside for other initiatives and engagements.
- The whitelist participants will have 24 hours to purchase before the general public. They can start purchasing on 5 July 2022, at 13:00 UTC.
- Each whitelist winner can mint up to 1 NFT for the entire period and can do so 24 hours before the public sale.
The remaining NFTs will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, on 6 July 2022, 13:00 UTC.
Minting Details
The sale will be conducted on the official Affyn website. Follow these steps for a successful purchase:
- Get FYN tokens to purchase the Buddy and MATIC tokens for transaction gas fees. We recommend keeping 1 MATIC in your wallet.
- Visit our official Affyn website and register an account.
- For whitelist participants, log in to your Affyn account on 5 July 2022 and follow the on-screen instructions.
- For general public participants, log in to your Affyn account on 6 July 2022 and follow the on-screen instructions.
- The sale will be conducted on the official Affyn website.
Gen Zero Buddy Ownership
Once you become the owner of the Gen Zero Buddies, you can see them on OpenSea. You can also sell them. Your Buddy, your choice. However, these Gen Zero Buddies are very different to other Buddies, even though they will be integrated into the NEXUS World and have all the functions that normal Buddies have. These Buddies carry the “Gen 0” symbol, identifying them as your Gen Zero Buddies that are 100% mythical collectibles.
Hatching
Hatching begins: 9 July 2022, 13:00 UTC to 12 July 2022, 13:00 UTC onwards. To hatch, just login to your Affyn Marketplace account, and find the hatch button under your inventory. Hatching is optional. You can choose to hatch your Gen Zero Buddy Egg anytime once the hatch function becomes available.
